MFTWSC89-You Are Purrrrfect

Hey everyone, and happy Wednesday!! That means it is time for another Wednesday Stamp Club challenge from My Favorite Things! It's MY favorite sketch challenge!

For my card, I used the super cute Pure Innocence set, Purrfect. I stamped her on X-Press It blending card, and then colored her with my Copics and paper pieced her dress with some Blink of an Eye paper from MME. She was then layered with Aqua Mist(PTI), Banana Split(Bazzill), and Really Rust(SU) cardstock. My sentiment and white panel are Sweet Tooth cardstock from MFT, and I also used Sweet Tooth Grosgrain, and Michael's brads. I used the Fishtail Banner Stax Die-namics for my long striped panel, and I used the Sentiment Strips Die-namics for my sentiment.

For the inside I used another sentiment from this set, along with the ball of yarn image that comes with it.

Here are the Die-namics I have used:

We encourage you all to play along, and to enter your card in the weekly draw for a $15 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch. All you need to do to enter, is upload your card to the gallery at SCS, and enter the given keyword in the keyword box, during the upload process. After the deadline, we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher! That is up to $100 per month in prizes, JUST for playing along. We hope you'll join us in 2012.

Check out the FAQ - Wednesday Stamp Club thread if you need any further info on this challenge or help on how to upload your card to the gallery.  Upload your creation to SCS using keyword MFTWSC89 for a chance to win this week prize (see above). You have until noon Tuesday, September 18th to play along.

Thanks SO much for stopping by!  Please head on over to Kim's Blog for a listing of all the designers working with this sketch today!

It's Kraftin' Kimmie Release Time!!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!!! Well....not if you look outside. But it is at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps !! Get ready for our HOLIDAY 2012 RELEASE!!!!! We are kicking off the *New* September Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps previews today and first off, we’d like to introduce you to a beautiful new set of Trinkets!!! We are very excited to share with you our….HOLIDAY TRINKETS!!!

These circular sentiment stamps have been created and designed by the totally talented Krafty Girl, Nicole Aspinall!! They are made especially to fit in your 1 3/8ths and 1 ¾ inch punches, for quick and easy cutting!!! This month we are releasing the HOLIDAY Trinkets set which includes EIGHT trinkets in each set with four of each size and they come as both positive and negative images, so you can use your black or brown ink with the positive stamps and use your coloured inks with the negative ones!! You will get the set as a completely unmounted full sheet of deeply etched grey rubber.

A lot of the Krafty Girls are cardmakers and we have found these to be such a quick and easy way to add a sentiment to our creations or to use as the focal point on your cards! They are also perfect for your Smashbook pages and your scrapbook pages, not to mention your altered items and tags!! What a great way to make a bunch of gift tags for all those presents under the tree!! No stamper's stash is complete without them!

Now just you wait 'til you see the awesome samples the Krafty Girls have put together for you....and be sure to comment on each and every stop because one lucky stamper is going to WIN the new HOLIDAY TRINKETS set!!!

For my card tonight, I stamped my Holiday Trinket on Sweet Tooth cardstock with Rich Cocoa Memento ink, and on a piece of The Merry Days of Christmas paper from MME. I cut out just the banner from the PP, and the whole circle from the Sweet Tooth cardstock. My layers underneath are cut with the Sweet Stack Label Die-namics, and I cut them out of Hot Fudge cardstock, and more of the paper. To embellish my card, I used Michael's brads, Walnut Seam Binding, the Large Fancy Flourish Die-namics, and Open Bracket Border Die-namics from MFT.

Well, that is it for me for now!! Hope you enjoy all the previews!! Happy Hopping!
